Classes were keeping me stressed and busy but I had a nice surprise when Oh was able to come visit.

I also started babysitting two cute Czech kids, Adam and Sara.  We spent our time together playing hockey (which Adam always won), playing tag, jumping on the trampoline, and really anything involved running around!  And we did a little English homework in there as well.

While I had a break between classes Oh and I decided out of all the places we could take a trip to we should surprise mom and dad and go back to Elgin for a week. Two days later we were on a plane back to NE.  My moms face was priceless when Oh and I just showed up on her doorstep in Battlecreek.  It was nice to be back with the family and show Oh the farm.  Not to mention all the home cooked food my mom and sisters made.

Better late than never.  I was thinking about all of the ‘stuff’ I did in 2011 and how it was such a crazy year.  I’m already starting to forget details about the trips I took and things I did so here is me backtracking and documenting 2011.  It’s going to take awhile 😉

December 2010

I have to start with December 2010.  I don’t think I have ever been so excited to go home and see my family.  It had been 13 months since I was back in the states, not to mention seeing my family!  I think everyone else was pretty excited too, not necessarily to see me but all the presents I brought back from Korea 🙂

One of the best parts about going back to Elgin- the sunsets.
